Saline Lightening & Emergency PMU Removal For Brows • Eyeliner • Lips • Small Tattoos

Saline Lightening is a safe and effective non-laser method used to lift unwanted permanent makeup and small tattoos from the skin. This service is ideal for correcting old or oversaturated brows, migrated eyeliner, unwanted lip blush or lip liner, and small tattoos up to approximately 2×2 inches.

Using techniques based on the principles taught in professional saline removal education, pigment is gently lifted from the skin through osmosis, allowing unwanted color to rise to the surface and lighten as the skin heals.

48-Hour Emergency Removal & Lightening

If you recently had PMU done and the results are too dark, too thick, uneven, migrated, or not what you expected, you have a short window of time to act. Within the first 48 hours, fresh pigment can be lightened before it fully bonds into the skin.

During this appointment, a warm compress is used to soften early crusts, followed by a topical saline soak applied for 10 minutes. This method does not use needles and can significantly reduce saturation and prevent long-term discoloration or undesirable healed results.

This emergency service is available for:

   •   Fresh microblading or powder brows

   •   Fresh eyeliner or early eyeliner migration

   •   Fresh lip blush or lip liner

   •   Newly done small tattoos

After 48 hours, pigment begins to settle deeper, and standard saline removal will be required instead.

Standard Saline Lightening (Healed PMU)

For PMU older than 8 weeks, saline solution is gently implanted using a hand tool or machine with safe, approved movements such as tapping, pointillism, or controlled shading. Stroke movements are never used in removal.

Each session includes 2–4 passes depending on the condition of the skin. Sessions must be spaced a minimum of 8 weeks apart to protect the skin and ensure optimal lifting.

This method is suitable for:

   •   Old microblading

   •   Oversaturated powder brows

   •   Unwanted brow shapes

   •   Eyeliner migration

   •   Lip liner or lip blush

   •   Small body tattoos

Multiple sessions may be needed based on depth, saturation, skin type and pigment formulation.
